When Aegon used [[dragonsdragões]] to conquer the seven individually ruled kingdoms that existed on the [[Westeros|mainlandcontinente]] and forged a huge, strong empire. The Kingdoms were: The [[Kingdom of the NorthReino do Norte]], the [[Kingdom of Reino do Vale and Skye do Céu]], the [[Kingdom of the Iron IslandsReino das Ilhas de Ferro|Kingdom of the Isles and RiversReino das Ilhas e dos Rios]], [[Kingdom of the RockReino do Rochedo]], [[Kingdom of the ReachReino da Campina]], [[Kingdom of the StormlandsReino das Terras da Tempestade]] and [[Dorne]].

Aegon managed to conquer only six of the seven kingdoms, consolidating them under the rule of [[House Casa Targaryen]] and the [[Iron ThroneTrono de Ferros]]. [[Dorne]] was joined to the realm only two centuries later through diplomatic means, after a [[Conquest of Conquista de Dorne|few hurdlesalguns obstáculos]] on the way, thus making the name somewhat inaccurate.
