Ny Sar é uma cidade arruinada em Essos, que fica na junção dos rios Roine e Noine. Ela fora destruída pelos Valirianos.
Ny Sar was the capital of the Rhoynar, one of the many Rhoynish cities left in ruins following the Valyrian invasion, that forced many of them to flee to Dorne.[1] Its port that once saw hundreds of ships of all sizes sail into the harbor. Today ruins of Nymeria palace, their warrior queen, is all that is remained, a colossal palace of pink and green marble, its collapsed domes and broken spires looming large above a row of covered archways.[2]

Griff, Young Griff and their company, passed Ny Sar on their way to Volantis.[2] Tyrion spies ‘snappers sleeping the slips where half a hundred ships might once have docked. This was Nymeria’s palace, and all that remains of Ny Sar, her city her thinks to himself.
Shortly thereafter a horned turtle of enormous size appears not six yards from the Shy Maid.
Ysilla cries loudly, as tears stream down her face, saying "We are blessed, we are blessed." Yandry cries that it is him, The Old Man of the River.
